Ep. 35 - Christian And Atheist Friends Discuss Their Differences

Today my guest is axel arzola. He’s a filmmaker in LA and an old friend. He’s coming on today to discuss his journey away from faith. Today we’ll discuss faith, the nature of truth, and how we know what we know. The big take away that I tried to communicate to Axel in this episode is that people throw around the word truth a lot in society but truth is actually very hard to obtain and acquired through multiple means outside of the scientific way of knowing that demands 100% provability to be true.

For instance, we can know things through emotions, logic, deduction, testimony, and a litany of other things. So when we ask is it true we must expand our understanding of what truth is in order to answer. In some way we hope this talk helps toward that goal.
